Microsoft is launching its Surface laptop, a 13-inch laptop that has a price tag of $799.
The new laptop is designed to compete with Apple’s iPad Mini, which retails for $999.
The Surface Book was the last laptop Microsoft launched with a budget price tag, but it was a failure.
It sold fewer than 10,000 units in its first year, and it was discontinued at the end of 2016.
Microsoft is hoping to turn things around with the Surface Book, which will have a higher price tag.
Microsoft has been working on the Surface Pro line of laptops since late 2016, and the company has already announced that the Surface 15 and Surface Pro 13 will be coming to the market later this year.
The Surface Pro 15 has been designed for people who want a laptop that’s easy to use, but also has a high-end gaming experience.
Microsoft’s first new Surface laptop will have the new Intel Core i5-6500U processor, with a 14-inch screen, and 8GB of RAM.
The machine will have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU, which Microsoft has been touting as being able to handle 4K graphics and higher resolutions.
Microsoft will also offer an 8GB version of the laptop with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card.
The new Surface Pro laptops will be available starting in the second half of the year.
Microsoft is also selling a new Surface Book and Surface Book Pro that will be powered by the same Intel Core processors.
The two laptops will also feature an Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 GPU, a new Nvidia GeForce 810M GPU, and 128GB of storage.
The notebooks will be priced at $1,799.
